Claire Streb: You aren't good enough

You have made some bad choices in the past, and you will continue to make mistakes in the future. You will never be "good enough." No matter how hard you try, it's almost certain you will do at least one more thing that is not pleasing to God. But, guess what? Here's the good news -- when Christ was crucified, after being mocked, insulted, ridiculed, spit on, beaten, flogged, tortured, and persecuted, when he hung on the cross, the nails piercing his body, the wound bleeding from his side, he paid for your sins.

God loved us so much that He sent us His son. Jesus loved us so much that he sacrificed himself to God so that we would be "good enough" to enter God's kingdom. When God looks at you, he doesn't see the bad things you have done. He sees the good things. He sees your potential. He truly loves you. You can trust Him.

  1. Get a Bible and start reading it.
  2. Look in the Yellow Pages under "Church," find one that teaches from the Bible, and call the pastor.
  3. Your life depends on it.
